This is my first dealing with R* support and I absolutely hope it will be my last. They couldn't be bothered to read my ticket, sent a generic response, basically accused me of negligence and idiocy, and asked me to submit A NEW TICKET.
My original ticket was a whole two paragraphs long with a screenshot of the error code and a screenshot of my Steam purchase/Key. I just didn't have it formatted into neat bulletin points like they apparently wanted. The generic response also asked me to format and include a bunch of information I included in my original ticket. They obviously didn't read my ticket and apparently give zero craps about my situation. ET today accusing me of not entering my code correctly in a generic response. ET (thirty minutes after launch exactly) and I got a reply at 3:01p.m. I entered the key and it claims my 'Rockstar Activation Code already in use'.
Then the launcher prompted me for my key, again. The RSC account took it and I downloaded the launcher from the RSC website since it added GTA V to my RSC account game library. I activated my Steam key on the Rockstar Social Club website in my RSC account.
